COVID-19 pandemic has affected the world whereby as each day passes, more people are diagnosed, more death rates that includes doctors, nurses and allied healthcare professionals. The community and various charities have come together to help provide vulnerable families and hospitals face masks, food and water. We at the Farah Saeed Trust have done the following:
Shared information from the National Health Service (NHS) and health authorities keeping the public up to date.
We have fundraised for NHS charities together that help the NHS to enhance patient care with adequate medical equipment and personal protective equipment.
We have collaborated with a few engineers from Cadent to support vulnerable families of all faiths by providing food and drink.
We have supported the muslim community during Ramadan with reminders, tips, food tips, online events, videos to improve their health and well-being via #FarahRamadanAtHome.
We have been sharing COVID-19 updates on our Facebook page.
We will be doing a Youtube series titled 'COVID-19 Let's talk' to support parents, students and educators who are doing virtual learning.
We will continue to support ALL until this crisis is resolved.
