This Ramadan 1442 AH, we performed our first collaboration with a US-based organisation called MAPS - Many Cultures, One Community and our first kids-based programme during the blessed month of Ramadan.
It consisted of the following: 1) A one-week programme of FREE fun-filled activities for children aged 5 to 16 years old to uplift the kids' knowledge and faith. It contained poetry, a imaan-boosting reminder on how to connect with Ramadan, Ramadan art activities ending the week with a Ramadan family quiz! Well done who all contestants who took part in the quiz! 2) Artistic Season 3 Ramadan Art competition for kids. The aim was to discover what Ramadan means for kids where all the beautiful art entries was featured in a virtual art exhibition on the second day of Eid ul Fitr inshaAllah!
Independent projects: The FST has fundraised via Facebook a humble amount for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital based in Memphis who have evidently shown amazing progress in understanding and treating childhood cancers particularly brain tumours and blood cancers. A big well done to all the health and cancer charities out there where ever you are around the world. We also published our 7th Farah magazine issue - Farah is a FREE, VIRTUAL, ANNUAL magazine that aims to help and support everyone with inspiring articles on how to develop spiritually, personally, healthily and socially. A time where each one reflects, strives hard with spiritual boost to seek mercy, forgiveness, repentance from the Almighty and aim to be a better person.
A big thank you to everyone who was involved in all of the projects and supported the cause even with a simple kind word!
